Open PhD position in Bioimaging at MLU Halle-Wittenberg


The Pattern Recognition and Bioinformatics Group at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg is looking for a full-time 3-years research assistant (PhD student) in Bioimaging. The group is hosted at the Institute of Computer Science of the MLU and embedded in the inspiring and collaborative environment of various university institutes (e.g., biology, biochemistry, agriculture and medicine) as well as renowned external partner institutions like the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle-Jena-Leipzig or the Leibniz Institutes of Plant Biochemistry (IPB) and Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK).

In addition to research in Bioimaging the position only includes teaching obligations in the computer science and bioinformatics programs of the institute which are to be given in German.
